The Sir Richard Stapley Educational Trust is seeking a new Treasurer to join its dedicated Trustee Board.
Founded in 1919, the Trust is a respected UK-wide grant making charity that supports academically talented postgraduate students facing financial barriers.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a long-standing philanthropic legacy and help guide the strategic direction of a charity that awards over £160,000 in grants annually.
What you'll do

Oversee finances & investments

Chair the Finance Committee

Ensure compliance with charity accounting standards

Assess student grant applications
The person we're looking for

Experienced accountant with knowledge of charity finances

Confidence in monitoring and interpreting investment information

Strategic vision & sound judgement

Commitment to supporting talented students facing barriers
